Positive Changes, LLC partners with several different school districts that provide continuing education for the children and adolescents in our PHP. Additionally, our therapists and rehab/expressive lifeskills actively participate with the school district.
The Partial Hospitalization Program is able to address moderately to severely intensive mental health and behavioral problems with children and adolescents. Typically, clients accepted to PHP have been unsuccessful in making progress at a less intensive treatment setting or are being stepped down from a more intensive level of care. This program is designed to help clients develop the skills necessary to continue to progress at an outpatient level of care. Positive Changes follows the best practice model of mental health, milieu therapy, and recovery principles of psychiatric intervention. All clients are admitted to PHP under the care of a psychiatrist who oversees all aspects of care. Additionally, our staff of licensed master's level therapists, and nurses work in partnership with internal and external referral sources to ensure smooth transitions from one level of care to another. Commitment to service excellence and quality of care to our clients, their families and their referral sources is the standard, not the exception.
